Boy or Girl?!?

John and I talked for the entire hour of our car ride. What if it’s a girl? What if it’s a boy? We talked about it as if we actually had some kind of say in the outcome.
We spent the hour playing out scenarios for each one. A boy would mean Timmy wouldn’t spend his entire childhood surrounded by only girls. He would have a brother and best friend to grow up with.
On the other hand, Jettie and Timothy are already best friends. We will often see Erin hanging back watching them as if she is questioning what the heck they are doing. So maybe a girl would give Erin someone to play with?
A boy would mean a lot more spaghetti nights, because Timothy already eats more than Julia, Jettie, and Erin combined. But a girl would mean paying for prom dresses and weddings. It would mean a house full of hormones and drama, and fighting over who borrowed whose shoes.
By the time we arrived at Sonocare of East Texas, whom I highly recommend, we came to the conclusion that either one would make a perfect addition to our wild bunch.
John and I walked in and back to the room right away with zero wait time.
I was filled with anticipation.

We knew immediately after she began.
